We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as our activity does not fall within the cases set out in article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation. You can exercise your rights and raise any question about this policy at the email address above.
2. What data we process and where it comes from
We only process data that you provide to us or that is generated by your use of the website:
- Contact form: full name, corporate email address, job title, company, telephone, country, industry, main bank, annual volume band in international payments, currencies you operate in, any comments you add, and the record of your acceptance of this policy.
- Meeting bookings: if you book a meeting through our advisers’ calendar, the data you enter in that booking tool.
- Direct contact: the data contained in emails or calls you send us.
- Client relationship: where we provide advisory services, the identification, contact and operational data needed to deliver them.
- Browsing: technical data such as IP address, device and browsing activity, through cookies, under the terms of our cookie policy.
We do not ask for and do not need special categories of data. Please do not include such data in the comments field.
3. Purposes and legal bases

The data marked as mandatory in the form are necessary in order to reply to you. If you do not provide them, we will not be able to process your request.
We do not send commercial communications to those who submit the contact form. We only use your data to deal with your request and, where applicable, to provide the service. If in future we wish to send you information of a commercial nature, we will ask for your consent separately and specifically.
4. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: one year from the last contact, after which the data are deleted.
- Clients: for the duration of the relationship and, once it ends, for the periods required by commercial and tax legislation for the purpose of dealing with possible liabilities.
- Cookies: for the periods set out in the cookie policy.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data and we do not share them for third-party advertising purposes. Your data may be accessed by:
- Technology providers acting as processors on our instructions and under a contract that meets article 28 GDPR: the hosting and website platform provider, the email provider, and the meeting booking tool.
- Authorised financial or crypto-asset service providers, where you decide to engage one of them for your transactions. In that case the relevant entity acts as an independent controller of its own processing and applies its own privacy policy, which you will be given before contracting.
- Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation to provide the data.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers mentioned may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or, failing that, on standard contractual clauses together with the additional safeguards required. You may request further information on these safeguards at clientes@ipa-yments.com.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge, by writing to clientes@ipa-yments.com or to our registered office, stating the right you wish to exercise:
- Access to your personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure of your data when they are no longer necessary.
- Restriction of processing in the cases provided for by law.
- Objection to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Portability of the data you have provided to us, in a structured and commonly used format.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
We may ask you to prove your identity before dealing with your request. We will reply within one month, which may be extended in the cases provided for by the Regulation.
If you consider that your rights have not been properly attended to, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.
8. Security
We apply the technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk of the processing in order to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, and we require equivalent guarantees from our providers.
9. Automated decisions
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, and we do not carry out profiling that produces legal effects for you or significantly affects you.
10. Cookies
The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the cookie policy. You may accept, reject or change your preferences at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the law or in the way we process data. The date of the latest update always appears at the top of this page. The conditions governing the use of the website are set out in the legal notice.
